Cornice 50 is a felt rug created by joining elements with Punto Cavallo.
It consists of a central area and a frame.
The frame is composed of cm 50 x 50 squares elements placed on the sides of the central area.
The border features the Punto Cavallo.
This rug can be produced both with a single layer and a double layer of felt.
In the double-layer rug the frame is visible only on the upper side, the underside is always without ornamentation and in one colour.
Only in rugs with a width higher than cm 200 the underside shows inner stitching.
