It is hand-made using a mixture of limestone, clay, inert materials, and colours.
Any small surface imperfections (stains, porosity, thin surface cracks due to the settling of the piece) are characteristics of the handcraft processing and do not affect the quality of the product.
This material is treated to limit the absorption of liquids and greasy substances and to have velvety surfaces that are pleasant to the touch.
