Alkazar is a hand tufted rug.
The geometric pattern which decorates this rug is created with bouclé stitches executed with wool braids.
The stitches are tufted at the same level of the wool or silk background.
The background and the braids are dyed in the same colour; silk dying results in lighter tones, and this creates a tone on tone effect.
Only one colour can be chosen.
The colours of fabrics and materials in the photo-galleries are to be considered an indication only and can never replace the use of real samples when ordering.
