Nubi
This modular rug is crafted by sewing lengthwise wool felt elements with a width of 15 cm and different lengths with Punto Zigzag.
Each element is machine-embroidered with two threads in different colour creating a free-form pattern.
Felt decorations recalling clouds, are equally machine-embroidered with a thread in one colour only and then sewn with Punto Zigzag on the elements composing the rug’s surface.
The combination of elements with different dimensions means that the short side of the rug will always be irregular.
The border features the Punto Pettine.
The rug is produced with a single layer of felt.
